This fusion of a clutch purse and wallet is made of shrunken cow shoulder with a thin calfskin interior of pockets and card holders. The thick wrinkly material imitates the uneven texture of my subject inspiration. The piece unfolds into three "panels" that each serve their own purpose. The strap is made of the same material with a slight elastic feel that allows the bag to sit comfortably over the shoulder.

This aviator-style hat consists of multiple panels of top grain leather. Under each panel is another panel of faux fur that is attached from beneath and visible through holes in the leather. A simple contact button strap connects the two sides of the hat. The wrinkly uneven texture of the skin creates its identity that the hair patches contribute to. This piece mimics the texture of malignant skin conditions.

This horse hide leather clutch/envelope bag is meant to protect what's inside it. Because of the extremely thick hide, the body panel is laced to the gusset with thick waxed black string. This creates flexibility in an extremely rigid leather. The underside of the hide faces outward, presenting its splotchy and multi-toned appearance as part of the bag's identity. Additional leather patches are attached to the body with contact cement to mimic unnatural growths on skin.
